Three in one should work well Bob, that's the graphite one if i recall?

For the tailgate wiper, lift the tailgate a little so it's at about 45 degrees then dribble some onto the spindle.

I do not know how to remove the shaft from the alloy bushing.
The whole assembly is out of the car,
the wiper motor itself is removed and works.
Do you know how the cable is routed? A photograph would be ideal but a good description would help me with installing the new cable on the Valdez.

The cable is held in the retainer at the end nearest the motor. It runs to the oval drive into the groove on the 'outside' of the drive where it's held in a small pressed tab that fits into a slot on the oval drive. It then continues around the groove until it comes off and runs to the adjuster .... if that makes any sense!!

Maybe these pics will help. Bob

You know the rest of the sorry tale!

In fact this has reminded me i really should do mine again.
I remember when a service included lubricating the grease nipples on the suspension, steering and prop-shaft.

Now everything is sealed for life but a service still costs a small fortune.
