I think your meant to be a club member, wouldnt open for me but i could still get to it by working offline so all is good. did the oils today, gearbox oil was nice and clean, but when i got to the diff there was no drain plug, so i took out all the bolts on the back plate and that allowed the old oil to seep out the bottom. old oil looked pretty bad, but i recon it just hadnt been changed in ages, no foreign objects in it. onto greasing tomorrow!

looks like i will have to leave the greasing to the mechanic, my balljoints dont appear to have grease nipples and i cant get to the ones in the universal joints

The balljoints indeed do not have grease nipples - which is unfortunate - but the UJ grease nipples should be accessible with a bit of fiddling about and rotating the propshaft to non-obvious angles.

Servicing
I may be out of order but why dont you join one of the clubs ?
it seem`s people don`t mind using their resources if they are in trouble . And yes I belong to both main clubs! Regards Mike B |

the reason I havent joined is that there seems little point to me paying to be in a club that is 0on the opposite side of the world to me.
