Just wanted to say a big thanks to Evolution! I've now got a nice new timing belt, water pump and associated bits and pieces on the V70 Done 60 miles on it so far and running smooth as ever, really pleased

It certainly was a hot one, I didn't envy you working in that heat! The ride home was great though, mid 30's on the temperature (peaking at 37 at one point! Not sure how accurate the thermometer is...), but nice and cool in the V70

Use Volvo parts for the timing belt and pulley kit, FRF in Swansea do mail order. Given failure here is terminal I wouldnt risk pattern parts on the car.

I used genuine Volvo for the C70 but I simply didn't have the extra money I would have needed to get genuine parts for the V70 as well, I only just managed to get the money together as it was.

Given the choice I would have gone with genuine Volvo, but unipart is better than not changing it at all and it was quite a big difference in the price.
