I bought some of the "creeping crack" sealant to use on our 240GLT. While looking more closely at where the leak was I noticed a bulge of the black sticky sealant, prodded gently back into shape it has been holding dry, so I've held off using "c. c." sealant.
My 240SE has got a persistent leak round seatbelt inertia reel mounting. If your carpets are wet at floor level with no obvious point of entry above I'd give this a check while drying out carpets. I'm waiting for a dry day to coincide with enough time to give this another seeing to. |
