Hey Antz thanks.
You're supposed to be the engine person
For now, research having never seen one, if I scratch my brain, would include
:all intake pipework from airbox to turbo and back to intake manifold.
:Exhaust manifold, turbo, including oil lines block or sump fittings.
:Is there a map thing?
:all vacuum pipes and valves.
:does my engine computer need remapping or use yours, is the wiring compatible?
The trick is whether or not the bits are interchangeable between turbo and non turbo.
Difference in manifolds, throttle body, injectors fpr????

But you already knew all that.

Five speed auto.

I may just have to take my hand off it, deep breath and lay down.
Cheers?

Ok that's quite a list. I've never dealt with a turbo conversion on a none turbo engine so I don't know much about it.

That'll be some weight and if you are in Brisbane its going to cost an absolute fortune to send. I have no problem removing the parts and sending them but I fear it may be way too expensive for you.

Thinking about it you'll need:
Turbo
intake pipework
oil and water feed and return lines
vac lines are best to replaced with silicone ones by yourself
fuel rail and injectors
inlet manifold with throttle body
intercooler
ecu and probably even the loom which will weigh a tonne (an 850 T5 loom weighs 30kg) and they take hours to remove properly.

If you're interested in it, I can remove it but I think itll cost a fortune to ship and whilst I'm happy to help, I don't really fancy removing all these bits in the dark and freezing cold for hours to not get a guaranteed sale.

G'day Antz, thanks very much for your time and your kind offer.
I might instead go for an aftermarket supercharger and remap.
Perhaps a different car?
How about I grow up and leave my baby alone.
I think I'm paying about 400 GBP insurance as it is, might cancel and go to the pub.

Cheers.
