at idle the vacuum neg pressure should be 27 in Hg when using a mityvac in the vac line for the engine pads/mount. at 1100 rpm or greater it should drop to zero.

Just took it to Dpa in notts. Awesome .....much better than the main dealer Marshalls

They advised doing a smoke test first. It was indeed the intercooler....... got that changed, all the codes reset and the car flies!

No more idle mode. Thanks to all for the info and advice. especially CARL4u44! right first time.....
