My post is irrelevent to the main thread but i was just curious about the type of spark plugs used in the 400 series: On the NGK website it says NGK ZGR5B plugs for the 400 series. I just changed the 7 year old (did about 70000 kms) NGK BPR6ES plugs with the same type as i was satisfied with them (1.7 cat. engine avg max. 8-8.5L/100KM fuel consumption). B20F said he recommends NGK BPR7ES plugs. So which one is the ideal one?

For the 1700 the bpr6es is also ok. The bpr7es is one step colder as the 6 and a bit more suitable for highwayspeeds and the 6 is more suitable for citydriving. So it depends on the use of the car.
