And I'm only trying to help by putting my findings on here I don't have a gun to anyone's head insisting they buy from europarts

As for your springs you bought those because that's what suited you but it wouldn't have been my choice but hey it's your car and your choice you have yours reasons

Have I made my point
Oh yeah i know exactly what you mean as i have been there then had to replace the same part 3 years on rather than 10. Just pains me to think how much i wasted when i was trying so hard to save money. Lower wishbones needed replacing when i scrapped mine and that was its 2nd set of non genuine. So if i had kept the car it would have had its 3rd set of whatever. If i had replaced them with Volvo it wouldn't have gone against the car at scrap time.

I am wondering about Apex but certainly a lot have used them with no issues certainly in Vectra circles and im only doing the front so i hope they certinaly wont be like the PI ones i once had.
That ecp discount got me loads of like i said, if i didnt want the back end lowerer by 25 or 20 mm i would have got the best like H&R but even Eibach only lower by 30 so the front would have still been higher than the standard back. My SRI is supposed to be 15mm lowerer than standard Vecs same as the VXR's to

That discount is good for oil and bulbs to, i used PAT30 which seems to still be active

You've hit the nail on the head as europarts also sell bulbs, oil and many other consumables also tools

I am in no means saying the parts they sell are as good as or worse than the ones volvo supply I just stumbled across the discount code and thought I'd share it

How's the vectra anyway is it still draining your pocket like my volvo?

I have been using parts from G&S and ECP on Porsches, Beemers, VW's, Volvo's, Saabs for as long as i can remember and never had any issues with parts, Mexican replica Beetle parts not withstanding, but sometimes that is all you can get for a 40+ year old car.

Just because something isnt OEM dosent automatically make it poor quality, granted sometimes stuff can be a little below par...BUT....to be fair no one in this forum has a car less than 10 years old or worth more that £3k so really most will be running a cheap car because its cheap.

Some Dealer parts may be of comparable price, but I like keeping an older car going as cheaply as possible, while keeping it looking and running as it should.

There has been lots of discussion on this forum about brakes/oil/filters etc....well i can whole heatedly say i have never had any issues with consumables from either ECP or G&S...ever. I work off my own experiences first.

Thanks for the code fella!

Since I installed the fmic and new ac condenser it's been ok lol
Swapped the snowflakes for vxr 19 but apart from just about to lower the front and put full heated leather into it it's been fine not sure wether to spend another 70 and have heated rear seats to

I wouldn't need to heat the seats if I had 20 year old hotties from a club I'd need to fold them down lol I see why your not lowering the back now it'd be too stiff lol
