I'm beginning to think that adaptive cruise control is up there with sliced bread and running water as one of the world's greatest inventions.

I'm finding my V90 CC to be whisperlike at motorway speeds, but then I was running noisey winter tyres on my '14 XC90.

Mine is on its way, may be even on the North Sea as I write, dealer expects it mid April.

Sorry to hear of the damage, 'just' £150 doesn't sound too bad ..

I must say, I'm paranoid where I park, have managed to keep my S80 pristine over last 8 years, always head for the larger corner car park spaces in my local Tesco.
I am the same .I figure if I park as far away from the door as possible there is less chance of somebody parking near me as these days nobody seems to like walking. Having said that a few years ago I lived in Spain and bought a new Lexus 300 X and went to Lidles early one day and parked at the back of the car park and was the only car there. Just as I am getting out an old Rover 75 comes rolling up and parks right next to me . The older lady (use the term loosely) sat in the back , throws her door open and chips the paint on my door trim. I ask her what she is doing and she denies any of it and I was stood there whilst she did it. I wasn't happy. The worst thing is it was an english reg car with three old people in it. You couldn't make it up. Some people just couldn't care less about other peoples property.
