hi all, it worked pulled the dignostic socket and reset/clear code. but thought while i was there i'd see if there was any other codes stored and it goes like this...

ignition system.
1-3-1
cruise control
1-2-2 but is working fine, this maybe due to my speedo sensor playing up.
ABS.
4-4-4
2-1-4
1-4-2
but since cleared abs codes and now the abs light is on? it was prior to this taking a few seconds to go out and was flickering slightly? should i try and do a clear again?

update.
took car for drive Abs light went out and no more codes recorded....but still would like to know what these codes were.

any ideas as you've all been a great help.

Simon.
