Fair comment ! But if you go the DIY way you will need to make sure the film goes below the bottom of the window,(Pass the rubber) otherwise it could be slowly lifted off with friction, (done it on a Cortina !!)

Typically there's a full set of Volvo (I think) blinds for the rear of the car at a decent price on ebay, but collection only and 200+ miles away! Just trying to find out how these fit and how I can get them. |

Thanks for the offer.
The seller never replied to my requests and the listing has now disappeared and isn’t showing in a completed item search either. Suspecting something amiss! |

That's really cool if I could save so much money on window tinting. I wish I only saw a video tutorial on how to do it properly.

DIY window tinting sounds like a cool project! I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard some people have had success with pre-cut film kits. It might take some practice to get a perfect result, but with a bit of patience, it could be worth the savings compared to professional fitting. By the way, while browsing online, I came across this link about in-car sun protection for infants:https://snapshades.com/car-sun-protection-for-infants/. It might be helpful for anyone looking to keep their little ones protected. Oh, and just to let you know, I'm new on this forum. Nice to meet you all!
