I knew it must be technically possible. Why then, did O2 act as if I was asking for the moon when I requested the same service? Unfortunately Orange reception in my area is poor so I locked into O2.

I set the car phone up as my favourite number, so all calls to it are free (Orange) so when my phone diverts to it, its costs me nothing :-)

I looked at this too.
My plan was to get a Parrot MKi9200 Car Kit installed.
They [Parrot] also sell a component called Unika - this is a device that allows you to use the in built steering wheel controls to control the MKi9200. The problem I discovered, is that the Unika is only compatible with XC90's from 2007 onwards, like you, mine is a 2005 so this option was closed to me. I think I will contact Parrot again though to see if this situation has changed at all. |
