16" volvo alloys X 4 for £75 - Page 2

These are still for sale peeps. Grab a bargain! I am however, going to be a sod and keep the best for myself, it's going to be my new spare wheel. That means that there are 3 left...and I really don't want much for them.

Update on my repairs, the worst wheel, I have sanded back and filled in with alloy filler. I sanded this to the shape of the wheel and it seems to be going rather well! Given time, I may do this with the other two, but I shaln't repaint them. Offers?

Also, have a full set of spectra alloys for sale too. All have caps, in good condition. 2 tyres legal, 2 are on the tread marker. Offers?

Hi mechakev

I planned on getting a spare Stellar alloy as a spare but tt28 told me that they make the floor in the boot lift up by about an inch, so I scrapped the idea.

I am sure the same would occur with yours.

Why not keep hold of the Spectras, or the "refurbished" ones and put on a set of winter tyres, for next winter?

It will save a lot of hassle, when the snow comes and I have also heard rumours, that the law may change, making everyone fit winter tyres to at least the driven wheels, if not all 4.

That is what I will be doing, when I get my Crater's refurb'ed - Thanks to mikeyskona!

Keep my Stellar's for the winter - they have all got Avon ZV5's on them just now, with loads of tread, so there is no rush to get the Crater's on the car, yet.

I bet that idea changes, the minute they arrive at my door!

bugger, i thought i'd read somewhere a standard wheel would fit in the well.

even so, if i were to go on a mega road trip etc i'd happily put up with the boot cover sat up an inch or so and have a proper spare just in case?

That's for 3 alloys. £40 quid the LOT. They do need tlc (finishing).
