Cheers for the reply. I think I will attempt to pursue a refund via ebay.
Seeing as he advertised them as eibach and they failed to sell for much, I think I might struggle as they are just normal springs as I cant guarantee they are R design. Unless of course someone might want them on here. |

Update:
so i basically challenged the seller and stated that they werent eibach and the listing was misleading. I also stated that as there is no serial number or branding, I only have his word that they are volvo r design. For that reason I rejected the springs and requested a refund. The seller responded offering to provide me a refund (minus the initial P+P) and told me to keep the springs. I am currently enquiring with a volvo specialist to check the part number of these springs from the markings to see if they would fit and lower my car. Should I do the deal and accept his offer? |

Seems reasonable to me. I'd take that.

I am just waiting to get info from my volvo specialists.
Hopefully from the photos I sent them they will be able to get the serial number and specs of these springs. I am still pondering whether to accept the offer of a refund - minus the p+p to keep the springs. Potentially once I have more info and they don't fit my car then I will post them up on the forum and resell. |

Hi mate,
I would be happy to sell the springs to you. However it might be worth checking they are suitable for you car before you buy them off me. The previous seller said they came off a S40 R Design 2.0D 2010 with 33,000 miles on the clock. Apparently diesel engines are heavier than petrol engines so there was a chance my car might have sat higher if i decided to install these, hence they are now sat gathering dust. If you have checked that they fit and are still interested and let me know and we can sort out a price. Cheers |
