Referencing the grille
Personally not something that would put me off. The car in the photos looks in well cared for condition. There would be clues if a car has been drive hard, worn clutch could be one of them! If I was wary I would take the car out onto multiple road surfaces to listen for anything and I would make sure the car heated up before I finished the drive.

Point noted chaps. It is for this reason that I've both kept the original grill so the new owner has the option of either, and furthermore - not slammed it 80mm on 18" wheels!
Anyone is more than welcome to come have a mosey and take it out for a drive. It's by no means 100% concours condition - it is a 13 year old car - but bang for your buck, you'd be hard pressed to find anything else which delivers the same quality for the age and price. R

Not many T4's with only 80K though Tommy. Mine has 76K and I can definitely say it drives much better than the other 2 I've had with higher mileages. Worth paying an extra few hundred for definite (not that I did lol)

Mitch I'd totally agree with ya, that was the miliage when he bought it, it's over 100k now that's why I said that, mine only has 80k on chasis and a 65k lump.

Yes - it's dark when I get home from work, and currently thick in muck due to the flooding - will get some more recent ones at the weekend pal.

I would say that the 172 much better as all of the 1st phases are unmolested, they go alright as well this one had ss manifold and decat and ss exhaust, not too bad for a frenchy, I personally prefer these ones, on the newer ones is more power but with that comes more weight......
