I'm not sure if they did.The only ones that certainly had self levelling suspension were the executive models but not sure about the other models.

I thought it was all 7 seater ones had self leveling, although granted there are very few 5 seater ones about.

Agree, I thought all seven seater cars had self-leveling/load compensating suspension regardless of market, and only the 5 seaters had it as an option, I also believe Volvo UK have never sold 5 seaters into the UK, that model along with 2WD was primarily for sale in the States.

I've checked the spec in the sales literature and Load Compensating Suspension is listed as standard on all models.

According to p121 of the manual, self levelling is standard on 7 seaters as noted above.

Don't forget that the way it works means that it will sag when you load it up but corrects it self as you drive.

If it sounds/feels like calming strips/rumble strips, rather than speed humps, that does sound more like a tyre problem than a loading problem. Try varying the trailer tyre pressures, say form very soft to very hard, see if it changes the noise.

if that doesn't do anything, then try varying the nose weight, by putting different weights either well forward or behind the trailer axle, and see if that has any effect.

Hello, The Volvo towball manufacurer is Thule. I have increased the trailer tyre pressures from 60 psi to the recomended 65 psi. Took it out for a test run today - no improvement.
The distance from top of the towball to ground is 49 cm. The distance from top of the towball receiver on the trailer is 46 cm. (with the trailer level).
