The chain needs INSPECTION after 150k miles/12 years. What ever comes first.

My 2.0l is just around 125k and all fine...

What combined mpg does the 2.0 petrol return roughly? Tax band? Are they more desirable sale wise?

Thanks

The 1.8 R-Design is a pretty rare animal... they only sold about 90 of them and I've got one of them...

And I'm getting about 41.6 MPG out of mine at the moment on my daily commute.

Cant say about tax and resale, but mpgwise I'm around 45 mpg on my daily commute and on a long economy run around 52 mpg.

Its basically how you drive it, I've a 2.0l petrol. The book says about 39.5 ish on a run and that's about right. Run around according to the sensor shows about 35. Can't remember the tax code but for mine it cost £225. When I bought mine new last year the Volvo dealer had a bit of software which compared diesel against petrol over a 3 year period all I had to provide was my annual milage. Over that time scale they broke even, thus went petrol.

I understand from the owners manual that the 1.8 flexifuel has 6.5k service intervals seems awfully short intervals to me anybody running one can comment on this?
