Give you a laugh called a Evan Halshaw today re a Range Rover and asked the guy to give me a trade in price against it.Gave him all my details 1 previous owner full service history 90,000 miles etc etc he said ill call you back in 10 mins.Asked me how much I paid for it and long I had owned the car so I told him almost £8000 alomost 2 years ago oh I see he said I can offer £2500 book price I said I was in volvo perth 2 days ago and they said book price was £5995 .I think the guy got mixed up with a Ford KA maybe eh hahah.Needless to say the range rover is on hold ,cheeky F***er then said well if you sell it privately and we still have the Range Rover you can pop in .

Nice of the salesman to do you the favour of agreeing to accept your hard earned cash. They are a breed of their own, they really are. I think the prerequisites for being employed in sales at a main dealer, are:
Don't lose any sleep over the Range Rover, they spend a disproportionately large amount of time in the garage, shed value and shoddily attached parts like a Chinese motor scooter and you can do far better for the money. Last edited by Ross 63; Mar 5th, 2011 at 19:23. |
