Hi Ian, has your 131 gone now. A good car for someone. I wont bother keeping those Amazon bits for you now then?
Cheers
Bob

Hi Bob, no sadly I won't be doing any more amazon fettling for the time being. It's all shed building and fixing up the house filling my days off, bummer ! The 131 has sort of gone, sold on ebay anyway but haven't been paid yet and rather quiet on that front.Still sat in the garden though and hopefully all is well.
The blue one went to the bloke who originally converted it to right hand drive years ago, very sound geezer and he was well chuffed to see his old project resurface.

Hi 'Mr Gypsy'
Probably too late I expect - but do you still have any of your twin downpipe exhaust manifolds about you?

I think i do actually, but it's just for a single carb. I also have a new first section of exhaust pipe to fit it someplace, i'll have a hunt.

Hi Ian, interested to hear about your ebay sale. My son, who sold you the 2 litre from his Amazon, was interested in the car but missed out. Perhaps if your money is not forthcoming you could give us a shout.
Enjoy your decking and all the things she wants. Never mind, you are still young enough to go back to the Amazon but you will kick yourself for having sold off 'Your Cars'
Cheers
Bob

Hi Bob,
your son was keen and i'll keep you posted , still nothing positive to report on the ebay front so he might well have a new project. You're right i know about losing the cars, that volvo shaped gap on the driveway had me choked . Even my wife said it was weird without it !

I was really looking for the twin carb version but could still be interested as I have a '64 single carb as well.

Ah well, that's my first experience of an ebay timewaster. Not even a registered user any more , he's just evaporated. Didn't pay but didn't come for the car either so PM sent Bob, you have first shout.

Let me know and I can give you some more information by way of an off-forum e-mail or phone call
