How did the Sorento compare with the XC90. Have been looking at the Kia as an alternative, even preferred car rather than an XC

they are really like chaulk and cheese, the xc has a nice and smooth ride, the sorento was very bouncy, the seats are much better in the xc and the space is great, the boot in the sorento really did get on my nerves. the small lpg tank ment I had to fill up every 200miles and we would have to plan our route to make sure we had some lpg filling sations. Having said all of that the kia never broke once and i did 100k in it... the volvo however is anohter story, so much for dealer FSH........

Been talking to a local about buying his Sorento...just need some cash!! I drove an XSE 2.5CRD last month...just great. Everyone that has or owned the Sorento swears by them as a great car. Would have to search the Kia forums for more indepth common problems..but then every car has its problems

never drove the diesel version, the most common problems are the tourqe transfer clutches, the power steering rack and the worst of the worst is the very poor rust proofing on the underside, my back axel was rusting through and it was only 8yrs old.
