For the benefit of non club members on the forum such as me, who would like to attend, what are the general arrangements for the day. Start time or do you just arrive as and when and also do you park as you arrive or is it model based so that there are mini meets within the event based on model. Oh, and almost forgot , is it pre-book and how much is the entrance fee.
So many questions, but it is 35 years since being a club member. Back in the day, if you were not into lugging a bloody great caravan around you were not part of the crowd. Perhaps times have changed and time to consider re-joining. Thanks, Ian.

Arrive from 9.00
Parking is by model for members and non members alike. If you are not a member though you won't be able to enter the BKV competition. If you wish to join the club on the day the joining fee (£5) will be waived, making the cost £30. There is no charge for attending this event. Jaki Ragg |

I think that the VOC is to be complimented upon maintaining this policy. Some other clubs are not so magnanimous, and it contributes greatly to the general bonhomie of the event.
Regards, John.

Sadly can't make this as M.o.T. has now run out on the V70[where does the time go?it doesn't seem anything like a year ago it was last tested!]It's booked in for next Tuesday at which point I expect it to fail-I have the parts on hand for the expected failure points, but I'll wait to fit them until I find out what if any extra needs doing to it.Meanwhile this weekend I'll be at my lock up garage changing the oil cooler and thermostat on my Omega-oh what a fun life I do lead

Might pop down tomorrow, I won’t be entering the judging though.

There are a large number of excellent photographs courtesy of '360beast' over in the 700/900 Series section, 'V40T4R'. I was present, and believe that he has captured the spirit of the event very well.
Regards, John.

I must put on record my thanks to the guys and girls who put this show together. To be embraced when just a forum member and to be allowed to join in is very much appreciated. Top work and respect to all of those that gave up their time and effort

As someone who has organised car events over many years, I realise that there is a lot of hard work involved behind the scenes and quite often goes un-appreciated by attendees. Some folks think these events 'just happen' - they don't ! Although I did not put my car up for judging, a big thank-you must be extended to the judges. A very time consuming and sometimes thankless job. All in all an excellent day and hopefully enjoyed by all who attended.
