  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Cheers Alan.
I always thought it was the done thing although some recommend sticking to a dyno. Not sure why. If it is the dyno ill look at an alternator but again its alot of money all in bearing in mind id have to pay for fitting too.
Hopefully it's simple

The fuel filter is the wrong way round in that picture, but I think you may have corrected it.
Unless you are going to run big spotlights and big amps for ICE, the dynamo will do just fine as long as it is in good order. New brushes are cheap and new bearings are available. You might need the armature skimmed but there are places that will do that quite cheaply. You should be able to find somewhere to refurb your unit for a lot less than half the Brookhouse cost.
