on/off ... eg: is it all or nothing, or can you hold it at any point of your choosing along the rev range?

I see in your sig your car is a P2 - You might get more suggestions in the 00 onwards forum here

Hi, didnt realise i was in the wrong forum, Its ok at low revs under 2000rpm when driving, but there is a 1-2 second delay at full throttle, ie, if i floor it in first gear to approx 4-5k rpm then change to second and give it full throttle, there will be a delay of 1-2 seconds before the engine starts responding to full throttle, its a right pain in the arse - but when it does respond it pulls great -

i can hold it at any point of the rev range no problem, but it takes a second or two to get there, especially at higher revs but it responds ok to anything less than 2krpm -

Hmmm .. Ok, kind of like limp home mode, but not as restricted? I take it if you bring the revs to ~3k and go up and down in the top end its always slow to react, or is it just laggy when your starting from idle?

Does it do it when your sat in neutral etc?

Did you get a chance to read the codes?

Does it in neutral, yes if i take revs to a steady 3k then pump the throttle quickly as many times as i like it wont even register the throttle movement but if i keep the throttle down it will register after 1-2 seconds, its definitely not in any sort of limp mode though as it runs perfect other than this, ive had a few 2.4 lpt's and this has full power - do you mean read the codes with the obd2?

Hi Simon, Yes it definitely gave a P0222 -

Do you know if a replacement throttle/pedal assembly would need coding to the car or would it just be plug and play ? Many thanks for helping -
