Spring wise, happy with current softness/standard height. What springs would you fit with these? Who was the the original spring manufacturer? Should I just reuse the old springs? It does all look a little tired under there.
Take it I should always replace both front dampers? Sounds sensible.

Many thanks everyone. James
They are the ones

Front springs if they look in good condition I would likely reuse them. The rear springs are prone to going soft and breaking at the tail end so I would fit new rears.
Brakes and suspension always do in pairs

Thanks for that Classicswede.

I'm thinking while everything is apart I should renew the bushes on the front suspension.

I have replaced the droplinks, Ball joints and anti roll bar bushes, only on the bar/rod but the others are showing their age.

The large bush at rear with bolt through and bars with bush on either end look tired but no idea what the various bushes are called and quantity I need to order. Thinking polybush as hopefully no press needed. Would like to get the whole front suspension done.

James.

For rubber bushes it is better to replace the arms https://www.classicswede.org/shop/7-...suspension-kit

Poly is going to last the longest

Front lower arm - does need a press

That's all there is on the front other than the droplinks and ARB D bushes

Thanks for the reply.

May re-use the droplinks, but at £8 each may just replace.

The ARB bushes, is there one each side? Would I need 2 for doing both front suspension?

Do you think I should buy new bolts/ nuts? Where can you get them from?

Many thanks. James.

You can get all new bolts etc from FRF. I used poly on the spaceship and Volvo gen rubber on control arms and strut rods. You would need someone with a press to do the latter two bushes

A good plan is to get spare arms etc blasted and powder coated / painted and fit new bushes to them.

Is there any suspension diagram with a listing of the various parts name?

Not a clue which bits are called!

Many thanks.

James.
