I must say i am thus far very happy with the conversion Simon has undertaken. The car runs just as well on Gas as it does on Petrol. If anything i would say it is slightly smoother and Quieter on Gas, the VVT rattle is certainly less pronounced. The switch over from Petrol to Gas is undetectable, usually happens after about a mile from cold.

700+ miles covered since Saturday morning, mostly on LPG and absolutely no issues what so ever to report with Simon's conversion.
Simon, you did mention something about calibrating the level lights, this could do with being looked at as the top one stays on for ages then it plummets, but otherwise, all good!

Pleased to read you're happy with your LPG conversion! Must have saved some money on fuel already? Yes, what I said about the fuel level lights was that I'll be able to calibrate the fuel gauge lights based on your feedback. You've told me the full light stays on for ages then the 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, lights go out quickly down to the reserve fuel level light... Based just on that info I can adjust the fuel lights be much more accurate, no problem! Do you have any mileage info yet on how many miles you've done when fuel lights go out and how many miles you get on a full tank etc? A lot of my local customers are taxi drivers whom drive fairly average spec vehicles but clock up mileage very quickly, relative to them it seemed to be taking a while to hear from you regarding the 1000 mile free check! Then again, to be honest most of my customers choose not to bother returning for the 1000 mile free check - I convert a lot of high powered high spec vehicles which are generally regarded as 'difficult to convert' in the trade, so many of my customers come from the other end of the country! I'm just converting a new model Range Rover which is a very run of the mill type job but the last vehicle I converted was a Jeep SRT8 (6.1 Hemi engine) for a repeat customer and next week I'm converting a Merc E55AMG (5.5 V8 supercharged beasty!) whom came to me on recommendation from a long way off. Cheers simon I'm doing a rough miles per light now as just filled up today. Should be at the 1000 miles by the end of this tank, so I will be in touch.

Hi Simon, I think I might pop back to see you about my fuel gauge. When you serviced the LPG system I said it was fine, but I decided to run the tank to empty to see how far I'd get on 'reserve'... its at least 40 miles lol. I've been refilling every 100 miles so that can't be right I had to disconnect the battery yesterday and disconnect some LPG pipes to replace the vacuum hoses I was talking about, so the trip has been zeroed, however I'll do another tankful to empty and get back to you.
Its run fantastically since the service thanks, and I've got a new locking filler plug lol. Never did find out what happened to that

My sums work it out as saving about £7 per 100 miles, so the conversion should have paid itself off in less than 10 months, which is about what my initial calculations said when i did the sums, based on my 21k miles a year. Very happy with the conversion
