IIRC some people have replaced DIM units with secondhand of different mileage. There may not have been a proper handshake done with the rest of the cars electronics and if in the future the car is connected to a main dealer computer the whole car can go dead.£££££££££££££

Quick update, have been out this morning and bought a 2003 v70 d5 se with 144k on clock, full service history and cambelt done at 90k...just brought it home and averaged 46 mpg with a bit of a play on the motorway.......

Now for the big clean, whats peoples recomendations for very dirty leather seats??????

To clean your leather, and everything else for that matter, look into the Autoglym range.
You'll also want to treat the leather with a feeding cream to keep it supple when you've got the dirt off

For the paint I use Turtle wax Ice magic simply because it doesn't leave white marks on plastic trim. It does make the car shine as well but then so do all other polishes.....
