Carb Cleaner .. It's pretty neutral... Or electrical contact cleaner (but dont use that on the MAF sensor wire because if contaminated you can kill it).
Easy start did a good job of cleaning out my throttle body and ICV

Well as said before, when i got mine, i had all sorts of problems with it... ended up with a 20-30 something page thread, and we covered pretty much all the bases.. There are alot of things it could be, but with the vibraty noise at mid rpm, my money at the moment is on the cat.... although don't dispair, they're not as expensive as you might think... especially if you think "sod it" and go for a complete race-exhaust system with the 100 cell cat.... you end up with the perfect excuse for blowing a few hundred quid on ya car.. lol

I've found that if your careful you can successfully clean the maf with electrical contact cleaner just make sure you leave it somewhere warm overnight to let all the cleaner evaporate, did this on my T4 and it made it run smoother, also did my new car (maverick) with it and saw improvements in the engine running

it works again
The reason was that oil was over the engine (not much). That oil then was leaking over the sparkplug, then oil find it way inside the lead (where the spark plug thin end is) and therefore the car was running on three cylinders. Now I need to know why the oil is there, any ideas? Also I did clean the maf, throttle body etc using electronic cleaning stuff from Halfords, maybe this was a mistake but car works so I am happy about that. Thanks again for help, all of you, |

Your main Volvo dealer should have them in stock. Not very expensive

I bought the seal from Ebay, £8.48 GBP with postage to Ireland,
ok maybe a bit rip off (postage) but I do not have time to drive around looking for Volvo dealers, and my Volvo takes quite much petrol so in a way difference in cost is +-0 |
