I have recently used the Pye Volvo Garage in Stirchley
It is a Family business, which has been established for a very long time, and recently has become a Volvo Independent.

The service I have received has been top quality, they are a very helpful and reliable garage.

Nick Pye, recently carried out a 160,000 mile service, on my 850 2.5 10V, up until then all work had been main agent. I really got the feeling that looking after my car was very important. Nick spent a fair bit of time talking through the service, and all the work that had been done, showing me the worn parts and the reasons why they had been changed. A totally different experience to one I got at the Main agent.

On top of all that the car was so much better than before, everything had been done, nothing missed out, and all the little things too, even where some paint had rubbed on to rear door and rear wing, after someone rubbed against my car in a car park, too had been polished off too,and the alloys were cleaner than I can remember for a long too.

Please contact me if you want any further info, or just give them a ring..
0121 458 4310, It is just about 4miles south out of the city centre on the Pershore Rd, not far past the old BBC Pebble Mill Site. Nick is also very keen on his Racing 850, and mention the VOC for a discount too

I had my V70 serviced yesterday by a very good family run specialist. They are based in burntwood staffordshire, but they do offer a courtesy car. They follow the volvo service schedule and only use genuine Volvo parts. The 72000 mile service on my V70 D5 cost £210, the same service at the dealers was £360.
Have a look http://http://www.squireautomotiveservices.co.uk/

Paul has also worked on several cars for me in the past, and I have found his work to be good quality and reasonably priced.Would have no hesitation in seconding Scimitar`s endorsment.

Hello!!! I only know of one place for Volvo which is in Stirchley, off the Pershore road opposite the Bowling Alley. I only have the number 0121 458 4310. I take my V40 to my local garage that I have used since 1982 and they are brilliant, they are based in Blackheath just off Junction 2 of the M5..

Thumbs up Graet Birmingham Volvo Garage

I thought it time to update my earlier comments

I am still taking my my Volvo V70 T5 to my local independent Volvo Mechanic at PYE Volvo in Stirchley, B30 South Birmingham. I first started going there a long time ago.

When I last went there just a few weeks ago, it was because I had spotted some black shiny grease on one of the front aloys, so I dropped in to Pye Volvo, on the way home.

When I got there I saw Nick Pye, who had a look and spotted the split CV Gaiter, and it was booked in for a few days time, they did a great job, and it was ready earlier than expected.

The brillant advice, and really great reliable work that Pye put into my car is one of the main reasons, I am still driving a Volvo..

While I may be able to buy another car as good as my Volvo, I don't think I will be able to find another Garage as good as Pye Volvo

Default Diagnostic Tests on my volvo

Hey guys. Does anyone know how much Paul, the mechanic, charge for a diagnostic test. I have a volvo s80, and it needs to go in for a checkup because of an error message is popping up on the dashboard. If anyone know, please can you let me know (even if it's just an estimate) Thanks.
