Thumbs up

Yes it should work if you find a scrapper with an alarm that was working fine,it doesn't matter if the box you find has no fobs with it,just as long as when the battery was disconnected the alarm was disarmed so that your volvo dealer can plug in to the system to match up another fob.I recently bought 2 brand new fobs from bells volvo in northampton which came to £140+by the time they'd reprogrammed them the bill was £200!!. If you just want the central locking back (only on the key though) a good volvo dealer will be able to plug in and disable the alarm side of the security system but beware, plenty of dealers say it can't be done!!!.Sturgess volvo in Leicester say that they can do it no problem.Glad my tempory fix helped you out though!!
