Funnily enough the first Crooked Billet meets that I organised were not organised as VOC events as I was not a Register Keeper. Many people that have supported the meets over the last six years have not been VOC members, nor have they been pressurised into becoming members as my motto has always been "inclusion not exclusion". It was very much something that the original Performance Register Keeper "Noiseboy" (Phil Wright) had started and I had re-introduced when interest in meets was at an all-time low (months after Phil had resigned due to lack of time). Jod you have made a very good point!

Iain

Have to agree with past comments Iain Nothing there stopping you from organising more CB meets unless you are too busy.It would be brill to bring back to life the ole style CB meets with IC at the helm.

isnt it just a case of chosing a location, date and time then posting it up and meeting like minded enthusiasts at said time and place???
Guess so, but as Iain mentioned it's a good idea to let the manager/ess know we're coming!

All the previous meets have been at midday on a Sunday - it's always seemed to be more suitable to have the meets on a Sunday as people have more time and the M25 is not so busy! One of the major issues of the Crooked Billet over the last couple of years is the increasing congestion and the change in speed limits from 60 to 40 on some roads and the moving of speed limits as well.

Just a point here, there's a trackday weekend at RAF Marham on the 11th and 12th of October:

All the money taken from entries goes to charity!
