Hi,

Forged rods and forged pistons lying around in my garage. Yea, it's necessary...

I bought my 940 well after it'd done 222,000 so I'll never see it.

*sniff*

Roll on 333,333

Although at my rate of 5000 every year I've ... fourteen years to go.
Doable!

Tell me that golf isn't matching by luck? I managed to get a photo of mine turning 260000 the other week, trip counter was on 267.1. Can't go messing around trying to make it exact as it's the only way I know how much fuel I have given I have no fuel gauge!

Out of interest, 260000 on the chassis means that my 'unreliable' d24 has passed 240000 with nothing but regular maintenance and extra boost, and by the sound of it is going to outlast the m90 box which is dining I think

Must update high mileage club to silver membership :P

I get what you are saying about the trip counter, it's the only way I know how much I have left in my 940... I guess this is such a common fault with the gauges!!!

Mine has sprung to life on two occasions, but only for about a minute or two, and never to a level that's convinced me it was working and not just broken at a different level!

Just bought an '02 S80 D5 - 258k on the clock and I hope to get a good 2 years service from it.
Needs a few items to improve it, for example intermittent ABS sensors warning light/message, gear linkage like stirring a bowl of porridge, brakes juddery from high speed, wrong non-Volvo radio fitted, but runs well and doesn't smoke on acceleration!
