Rang our dealer today and found out our XC90 Active D5 Geartronic in Oyster Grey Pearl is on the production line ! ! ! So it will be interesting to see how long it takes to get to the dealers now.

it wasnt so long ago that you bought your new volvo , it was built to your specification and delivered all within 2 weeks , before this recession and before fords influence got too embeded .

Collecting new xc90
We are collecting our new XC90 D5 R-Design in the morning.

Other than the dash rattle which is an issue of plastic expanding as the car gets warmer the other thing to look for is the drivers side carpet. Make sure it doesn't come away from the sill as you step in. I am on a 2nd carpet and that is actually worse than the original. Also on the carpet it's worth checking that it is snug against the transmission tunnel on the drivers side too (near the footbrake).
The autolocking as you pull away is self-programmable from the centre console buttons. |
