My only concern is that the camera is very visible from outside the case and may encourage vandals / thieves to break in to steal it. Pity manufacturers don't offer a built in one.

Never found a problem with mine and it has been in some less than desirable places parked up.

Additionally, if they want they will have you will only stop the opportunist. In reality you really have to look quite hard to even see it sometimes. They also do not know if it is actually on do not forget...

Anyone here used the Blackvue DR100? It's a basic non-GPS model but it's only £119.99. I don't want to spend too much.
Any thoughts?www.blackvue.co.uk/index.php/online-shop/blackvue-products/blackvue-dr100-detail

Personally I do not want to say no, but I would seriously consider a GPS model only despite the additional cost it can prove your location without doubt, as well as your speed unlike a non- GPS one could, therefore covering your butt if anyone decides to say you were speeding etc it is quite easy to go here you go...

Most of them should loop over the earliest normal data ensuring any event data is protected.

Hmm I see what you mean if referring to the BlackVue just watch it though I do not know if the firmware issues and the overheating issues of selective models have been resolved.

Additionally, I highlighted this to Crockers, the sheer design of many of the Blackvue models forces/bestows upon you in my view having to use the software to adjust even the smallest thing unlike the CB which for my install is just pull the mirror, press a button and done.

Blackvue works by looping automatically, however in the software you can adjust the g-force parameters etc in order to define an "event". These events are not overwritten when the unit loops back.

My problem with the CB is that its not Mac compatible. But they are working on it. I do like it so am trying to decide between that it the blackvue
