There must be a reason why it's not sold then, it must be rougher than it looks! Also the replacement number plates, either it was on private plates, or could've had a tap. Either or the front is on the wonk, And it's annoying!

Sadly quite small damage to the front suspension can make minute changes to the chassis because it's designed to collapse in a crash. I have a so far unsolvable steering pull following hitting a traffic island kerb when the bollard was missing and I've spend a great deal of money replacing almost everything on the front suspension and it is still pulling. A careful test drive to see if the car self centres with hands off the wheel is vital. Don't accept that "it's just the road camber".

It's more of the back end damage that concerns me with the car. OK, dressing it up for offroading is great, but with the damage, that says it probably has had a bit of a bang. But with the hole near the light cluster, kind of makes me think, what was strong enough to bust abs plastic? I've dropped things on my bumper that bounce off it, accidentally of course. And why is a 4c suspension high end car so cheap?
Did the previous owner off road it like a lunatic and screw it over? *tangent* I've lifted mine, dressed mine up for off road because I am more than likely going to be it's last owner. Going on your premise of setting up the cars geometry, the lift kits thrown all the geometry out, that's fine my me as long as they can track it. *back to subject* It has the wrong back end for a lux model with the active bending headlights, unless the original buyer opted for a hidden exhaust system, the price it's advertised is rather suspicious considering I bought an SE pov spec car at around the same price before the cost of cars shot up. And this (looking like the lux with powered tailgate) should be at least £5000, my guess is, it's going to be riddled with faults and that's why it's had summer photos, because I doubt the trader could shift it. This car has money pit written all over it. I would avoid it. Judging by the traders profile, it's his paperweight at the moment. |

4c is lovely, if that’s your thing, but at that age you would want it to have all the shock absorbers replaced already. Off the top of my head it’s about 600 per corner.
Think about where your son lives too, no Low Emmission Zone likely to pop up? It’s a dirty Euro4 engine.

I doubt the car is still for sale given it was listed nearly a half a year ago - and if it is then it's likely a shed.
Rear bumper damage, parking sensor missing, ding in passenger door, why has it got off road tyres fitted? Likely cheapest in that size..... will be more noisy and thirty with those on. Looking at his profile he seems genuine but shows a lot of old stock and some of it photographed at random locations. If anyone was to consider anything like this - they should only do so if they are capable of assessing the car themselves and undertaking any work needed.

No taxed since October 2020. Why?
For sale since June so that suggests it not going to be great. Front shocks had MOT failure in 2019 but no mention after so maybe replaced. |

It's still got a big fat nope from me! Definitely one to avoid. Like I said, it's a +£5k car up for ~£3.5k. That doesn't happen anymore. Xc70's here tend to get snapped up quick.
The off road tyres are expensive by the way 😉 |
