Definately recommend them wholeheartedly. Makes the rear of the car much more comfortable, without the glare, for my young twins and they can't grab them and bend them like the roller blind ones my wife has in her Citroen!

I think they're a bit more than FRF.
I have the cargo area blinds and I'm considering the back doors as well.
They fit quite well but the boot window clips tend not to hold all too well....but they're not really needed!

I've called Lipscombs in Canterbury today and they said the blinds for a S40 were £76 +vat for the sides and the same again for the rear one...!

At that price it's actually cheaper to get the windows tinted.

I've got mine fitted now, Thanks FRF!! Seems I could have spent twice that much!!
I'm really pleased with them, they really do look smart! From the outside they look tinted (Unless you're standing quite close <3m or so), they fit pretty good (Could have done with one extra clip on the rear window, I fitted two clips middle top and bottom instead of the staggered V pattern, not it fills the window fine), have a neat little Volvo label on each which makes them look expensive I reckon! They come off very easily, and twist back up to a small unit to easily go back in their pouch when not needed. Perfect.

Just to add to what others have already said: get the Volvo ones.
They are cheaper I think than ebay ones you described, are good quality, they fold back into bag for storage on back seats( yes you have to know how to fold the frames but you'll soon work that out) and fit the windows perfectly.

Incidently, the clips fit around seals and stay in place even when the blinds are not on the windows.

Here's a quick pic of how the sunshades look fitted. Quite a bit like tints, if you're not up close.

Up close they still look really neat, little Volvo tags in the corners, they do look the part. Every time I see a posh car with crappy stuck-on shades I feel a bit smug!

Could someone please post the link to the official volvo sun shades for £30 each. There seems to be a lot of sites for volvo parts, and its hard to tell which is the proper volvo one
