Citroen dont use any locking device to fix the reverse onto the shaft, so prolonged reversing can unscrew the g/box first u know is when u lose gears.

What a gear change tho...

Ah yes, I remember a similar thing out in Sri Lanka with a Ford Anglia. There we were minding our own business climbing a mountain pass near Nuwara Eliya in reverse........ when we were overtaken by a LandRover - also in reverse!!
