I know its a old post but you may not notice much difference as it might be set up low pluss you may be use to it.
If you have the boost control code showing,your touching the limits and over the standard boost setting or the code wouldnt be showing. I noticed a big difference when I took mine off,bit lighter on petrol but most of all,no wheel spin threw every gear. I dont rate the ecu re map to much as you can get virtually the same out the mbc and the rubbish that the mbc may do your engine in is false as when you have a re map they dont uprate your pistons. I agree the ecu re mapp is more controlable though and if you can get a re map for the right money its worth it,I mean actually a re mapp where its doing what you want,not a ebay job that some ones had set up for there style. saying that,you can turn a mbc down too so there is some control there,just got to be carefull and watch a decent psi boost gauge.
