You need to make two new brackets - one to hang off the chassis rail which the 940 mount sits on, and another between the block and the top of the mount. You might even be able to use standard 7/900 mount brackets for this. There is a pic somewhere out there of one which has been done this way.
cheers James

3 yrs is a long time for that kind of detail. 406 seems to be familiar. From memory it was inverted (as in a hanging style mount) not exactly the same but close enough. The donor car was 1400cc I seem to recall. Sorry to be vague but my recall is not what it was.

I dunno about that... my brothers first car was a 1990 309 GTI Limited edition (155bhp) with a straight through exhaust and K'n'N filter and stuck to the road like nothing else and 30Kmh corners became 70Kmh corners and it pushed you into the seats on the straight and nothing ever broke on it.

Looks like I'm getting into a fight here but here is my experience with french sh1t.I used to work as a fitter at a place where they had a heap of french machinery.Dismantling any of it was a nightmare. Driveshafts that ran inside 2 other driveshafts,PIV boxes built inside pedastal housings! the list just goes on. All of the small parts that broke were plainly undersize. The french should not be allowed to make anything. Some of their cars might go fast for a short time but will they tow a carvan up a steep hill on a hot day?

Now that's some difference in experiences with french cars, but remember the 340's have Renault engines so let's not mock them too much after all they did help make a brilliant volvo and if IIRC the 6 pot engine is a PVR collaberation.
