Default LED trailer lights

Found this obscure reference to a problem with LED trailer lights:
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...0&type=VEHICLE

Service Bulletin Number:TJ-21297-2
NHTSA Item Number:10037819
"VOLVO: WHEN A TRAILER IS ATTACHED THAT HAS LED LIGHTS THERE MAY BE A LIGHTING PROBLEM."
I cannot find an online copy of the service bulletin or any further information.

If this is the case I suppose I could look at adding an extra (incandenscent) light, or a resistor, to the circuit.
Yes, by adding extra resistance in the circuit it would fool the canbus to think that there were normal incandescent lights. In some ways it defeats the purpose of fitting LED lights, that is to reduce the current load on the circuits.

It depends on what aspect bothers you most to warrant doing anything.
