Ok, however i did notice the 5th picture down it was not the volans on. If you could check the size and a take couple of pictures that would be helpful.

Well spotted, that's the spare.

It's an anthracite comet. The ones for sale are silver.

205 45 17 is the tyre size.

Thats fine, so the £225 is for 4 average silver comets with decent threaded budget tires. Its a shame they are 205's as to they make my gearing bit short. I would need 215 or 225/45 or 205/50. Ive got goodyear eagle f1's already so I could get the tires removed for free if youd be willing to sell alloys alone?

FWIW, I very much doubt they changed the gearing or speedo between the R and your C70. 205/45/17 is the stock size for this car. I ran mine on 215/45/17s, as they were a bit cheaper, but it didn't make a difference to the gearing or speedo reading that I ever noticed.

I stand corrected by James! Its -2.5% on standard 26.5mph/per 1000rpm in top so 25.8 ish so about extra 100rpm to keep up 80mph cruise.

When could i view the alloys or can you upload some pictures.

Comets are no longer for sale

Sorry, they're going back on the car for sale.

I'm keeping the Volans to put on my C70 rag top when I find it. (I think the Volans are sho shexy !!!)

Big Blue now has twelve month's MOT and is for sale minus the stereo for £1200 quids !

Ebay on Monday guys if no one is interested. I need to push some tin !
