I had to do a 1975 260 engine which had done 250000 miles with most of these faults , i had to use more than the recommended paper liner shims to get the liners up ! After being on it a few days examined everything , ( There was NO bore wear or crankshaft bearing or shell wear .) It ran like a sewing machine and was always the fasted V6 i had driven .. These were one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world 30 - 50 mph in 2.9 seconds , beat the V12 Jag and many other exotic cars .. I wonder what that figure is on the 960 3 litre ? They went ok but never had the same urgency :-)

During a brief diversion from 240 ownership about 7 years ago I drove a 760 saloon for a while. I was quite amazed at the performance and the engine made a lovely sound - so much so I never turned the radio on. Another car I should never have sold.
