  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

b'cos every time i use vpower or BP ultimate both are no problem, but just first time to use tesco fuel then the light is on,, now i think i need to finish all the tesco fuel and put the vpower again to see the light will off or not. or i need a reset tools to read and reset the light?

Is it any point disconecting the battery to get the ECU to reset? Would that clear the light?

My 850 R did this a while ago using what I call crap petrol some people say there is no difference with fuel but I totaly disagree I had to change the lambda sensor to rectify it fully fully in the end and I now dont use supermarket petrol.
Also to make fuel go further, refinerys are now adding ethanol to petrol I have this info from a good source so I asume it possibly is the additive that is causing problems with cheaper fuel.

I totally agree, you can feel the difference in different fuels and some cheap supermarket fuels contain much more sulphur, you can sometimes smell it like rotten eggs, a lot of people used to come in thinking their cat had gone cause of this smell, its the sulphur burning off on a hot cat, it reaks
