like Iain, i too had this problem. adjusted them manually myself then had volvo check the next time it was in. no more flashes since.

Had them on XC 70 and 90 and everyone flashed me - couldn't adjust them manually. Now have normal lights on XC 60, but they still flash at me, so I now adjust them downwards in the daytime - usually stops them flashing.
