Possibly. Mine is the MY10 model so perhaps you are right.

I too don't have the free update in the box. But more puzzling is the fact that my part number comes up as 31266070 AC in the RLI About section, but the box of DVDs says 31285067 AA.

Aaargh! I am so confused now.

I have a MY2010 car and got a free update card, but in was in the folder with the manual, not in the DVD box.

Still slightly confussed, with it only being one disc. (stated on web site)
I now need to forward the part number from the box that contains the four DVD's to my local dealer, to double check.

Reading the above data sheet, I note that speed cameras are included and I think this is a first for Volvo, RTI System?

tem.
I can now confirm that the update comes with a set of four DVD's and not one, as stated on the "Volvo Navi Web Site".

If you have ordered an XC90 MY2010, it should at least come with Version 31285854, of the RTI System.
This Version includes, full UK Post Codes coverage and the speed cameras.

When I bought my first XC90, the RTI was out of date and VUK, supplied the latest version, free of charge.
Best to check, when the XC90 arrives.

Default Speed Cameras?

Can anyone, please tell me how the Speed Cameras are displayed on the updated, Volvo, Sat Nav RTI system?
Is it a voice message, similar, to approaching a toll booth?

Thank you.

As for Speed Cameras, they are clearly marked on the map. No voice message as far as I have noticed/heard.

Toll Booth.... no idea. Haven't been anywhere near M25 nor M5/M6 with mine.

Thanks for the information regarding the Speed Cameras. (Nearest fixed one to me, is approximately 200 miles away)

Toll Booths?
Plenty in France, Italy and some in Austria.
The only one I pick up in the UK, is the Forth Road Bridge. They did away with it ages ago.

Default V70 model year 2009

Can someone please help. I have recently bought a new (unregistered) V70.

It is definately a 2009 model car, although I think it was built around Oct / Nov 2008.

In the Sat Nav info settings, it says that it is '2008 ver1'

I have taken this up with the dealer, who assures me that there are no other versions of the sat nav apart from what is now available on the 2010 model cars. They want £179.99 for that!

Does anyone know if the above sounds correct?

BTW - I cant find any free upgrade voucher anywhere !!
