Bosch are one of the best companies when it comes to automotive electronics and electrical components such as sensors etc, so you're probably safe with what you've bought. How many miles has the car covered?
Thanks....Dancake....my T5 has done around 150,000....has full service history and in VGC all round generally absolutely everything works [cept the probs mentioned]...However due to time constraints on my demanding front line job I have to take my car to the local garage and use a another car to travel, as I work a rural beat......

I don't think it`s running rich as I`m getting around 27.5 mpg on the T5 and as I`m used to `driving smooth` I don't think that`s too bad.....

I`m not new to Volvo`s having had a mint 360glt and for the last 13 years a very nice 940 which had covered 285,000 and is still in daily use.....used to do as much as I could on the 360 and 940 but time is not at premium atm....

regards.....

Noone can help you without knowing what the actual fault code number is.

I'd suggest you have the code(s) read and post the fault code numbers here not just the text description.
