Bill myself £400 wedding car hire? I think id be waiting a long time. Infact I think id be sending myself a letter from my solicitors before long.

Going back to the thread, what condition does the car have to be in? Obviously for wedding work it would have to be immaculate, but would it have to be immaculate for film work?

First of all, sorry for not getting back to you, been stuck with my head down at work, need to earn a living!!! Wedding vehicles will have to be concours or excellent (ratified by you owners club, hence members of CC is from existing club members), Silver membership ie tv/film etc, can be in any condition, most TV or Films want to be true to life where ever possible, your car being used in a static position, means so lnog as it has a current MOT, road tax where needed and is mechanically roadworthy

Hello, the reason for this is ultimately id two fold 1) the insurance for all types of events (Gold & Silver) 2) if you look at recent TV productions for example, you'll see alot are now set in the 1970's era, a time in car production when we saw the first signs of the throw away after 10 years evolved which ahs now created a shortage of 1970's vehicles according to the TV and the media have told me. Hope that answers your question, keep them coming and sorry I have'nt replied promptly, I have me head down earning a living.!!!
