I don't understand the mentality of doing that to your own car, unless it wasn't his to begin with, which means he is even more in the Doo doo,

Gary,

I imagine it wasn't his car but who knows boy racers seem to be more and more interested in volvo's nowadays. Perhaps it's because the new focus rs runs a T5 engine?
Burnouts may be pointless unless your at a dragstrip but it's fun to try once. My mates mini set on fire when the clutch gave before the tires. This of course was done on our own private land. But im grown up now and as hard as I try a Diesel transit just cant do a burn out!

My clutch is on the way out and slips if I try to even wheelspin, never mind do a burnout.

The best night to go is the last Hot Rod night at the end of the summer, its just mental,my car had 5 people in it DSTS turned off and me hanging on the hand brake like hell!,not good for tyre wear, but I was due a new set, only seem to get about 8000 miles on the front with no burnouts!,I think the 300 bhp might have something to do with that!
Will have to come to the next meet at the Crooked Billet as I only live down the road and my business is only 100 yards away.

Hot rodders have a reputation for being a bit mental.

Aye...sounds like a plan...would be good to see you. Just leave the DTSC turned on...the Crooked Billet people seem to get a bit grumpy if you arse about there...don't ask how I know...

cheers

James
