i used celtic tuning and have been running the car for about 8 months if not more since the map now.. still absolutely loving it! it goes like sh** off a shovel!
i use mine for daily use, and some thrashing around country lanes every now and again but the map really is fantastic! mine was £300 and when put up against my friends s60 2.0t it wins 0-60 and i dropped off boost because of a really poor start on my part! (private road obvs) |

I will ask here to not open new thread. I got Volvo C30 2.0d 2008. (Ford engine).
I would like to remap it but I don't have options like you guys in the UK. Only option I got is at some tuning shop to get ~160hp (not sure what do they do exactly). Can I check with Ford members to maybe tune my car where they did since it's Ford engine? |

I think its Ford-PSA but I don't like french cars (ok for renault) so I just wrote Ford . (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Duratorq_engine).
EDIT: Guess you are right... "Based on the PSA DW10 engine and with a capacity of 1997 cc, this engine was developed by Peugeot engineers in France on behalf of both PSA and Ford Motor Company" Last edited by AlphaScorpii; Jul 7th, 2013 at 13:10. |

I've got the rica map. Been 3+ years and 70k miles later. Passed its MOT for a third time no problems to report.
Coming from a 3.0 BMW I found the 2.0d remap to be night and day in comparison. There is usable power all the time whereas before I would sometimes be caught out before the map. |

Hi there, I came across a write up you ha d done in regards to OTS an CUSTOM maps. You mentioned MTE, RICA and SHARK. I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction (or advise). I have no other mods to the car as yet but a B12 sports suspension and 35mm drop is in hand. RICA told me that I can go for the full fat 253bhp map at £510 (+ £60 for 2 runs on dyno) they say I wouldn't need to urgently change anything. I was thinking a map that far would need at least an air filter change and some sort of exhaust system ? I am new to the Volvo modding scene an would appreciate any help 👍🏻
