Headlight Beam Pattern

Your headlight definitely uses d2r bulbs.
D1S bulbs create a different pattern.
Also need a starter for the d2r bulb…

Edit: Looking at VIDA it states D1S

They are the Reflector type headlight and hence the "R" in the bulb code - D2R is for reflector lamps.

I'm 99% confident if you fit D2R lamps your problem will be solved. The later projector/ABL headlights us the D1S.

Just been through old car parts in my garage and found the original lamps. They're D2R so i still have the ignitor. I bought the replacements from Halfords and they stated it should be D1S. Thats where i have gone wrong.
