Replacement wiper blades. Which ones?

That's part of the problem. It is very difficult to get a reference to a set of blades that are directly comparable to the Volvo ones. It might be dead simple if only we knew what to look for. On Amazon I think there were three different front blade pairs that claimed to fit, but suspect that only one, if any, will actually fit properly.

At £35 it is [just about] not worth shopping around, even though the rear wiper is on top. My opinion is that £25 for a set of three would be fairer value though.

I have come to the conclusion that Bosch model A298S are the exact fit replacements, as in your first link. Thanks

I have found them retailed by Amazon [I have a business account as well as private account with them] for £19.76 or £16.47+VAT, which strikes me as being reasonable.

The second link you provided is intriguing but sounds rather too good to be true. If I were selling the car within a couple of months and just wanted something to get it through an MOT, those would be ideal.

Its a new car model, so expect the price of wipers to fall as demand rises. I wonder whether the same ones as for the XC90 will fit?

If you have electric heated aquablades they will be a lot more expensive, I am glad I have standard wiper blades.

Indeed. My XC90 wipers with the integrated heated nozzles work perfectly well and much better than conventional washers.

I reckon the Aquablades are an unnecessary complication, only there to allow the dealer to charge more because (a) they are inherently more expensive and (b) they'll be difficult to source from elsewhere.
